About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing backend services and working with cutting-edge IoT devices and technologies. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Engineering (related to IT field)
- Relevant work experience of at least 1 year.
- Strong programming skills - solid foundation in developing using Golang is a big plus.
- Familiarity/Understanding of concepts such as security, data storage, and writing database queries.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and cloud technology is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of backend services in Golang.
- Implement REST APIs that follow best practices for scalability and performance.
- Work with relational and time-series databases to design efficient schemas and optimize queries.
- Troubleshoot, understand, and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Document technical processes, decisions, and system designs.
Selection Process:

Compensation:
- Probation Period: You'll begin with a base salary of 40,000 NPR during a 3-month probation period. During this time, you'll receive mentorship and work closely with our team. (Probation period means a trial period where both the employee and employer evaluate if the job is a good fit. If deemed not a good fit, the employment can directly end during the probation period.)
- Post-Probation Evaluation: At the end of your probation, your performance will be evaluated. Based on this assessment, your base salary may be increased by up to 50%.
- Regular Performance Reviews: Following the probation period, performance reviews will occur every 6 months. Based on these reviews, you'll be eligible for a salary increase of up to 20,000 NPR. If performance is unsatisfactory, we will have to end the employment.
- Performance Bonus: In addition to your base salary, you'll be eligible for a monthly bonus of 15,000 NPR for achieving extraordinary results. Your mentor will evaluate your eligibility for this bonus.
